Kofi Adoma Nwanwani’s wife Nana Abena Etruba begs Ghanaians to remember his husband in prayers due to his critical condition now. It looks severe as every day break.
The gun shots affected my husband’s eye causing him to bleed and feel miserable. Although the doctors are trying their possible best I am begging each and everyone to pray for him,” She said.
Kofi Adoma Nwanwani is a popular Ghanaian Tv Presenter and a Youtuber with high engagement and insight in African stories.
He uses his large platforms like youtube, facebook, twitter and other social media handles and websites to educate his audience, interview public figures, reporting news and reposting public announcements. His contributions to the Ghana entertainment industry is a top notch.
On 15th January 2025, after the initial reports of the incidents, Ghanaians own media personality Afia Pokua popularly know as “Vim Lady” posted on his Facebook page telling what exactly happen that cause the shot of Kofi Adoma Nwanwanii.
She said Kofi Adoma Nwanwanii was not deliberately shot, but was rather shot with a gunpowder from muskets.
The incident occurred during a big funeral at Dormaa in the Bono Region, Ghana.
Kofi Adoma and his team were the main coverage men at the event. Suddenly, the was musket fired at the event went into his eyes by the gunpowder.
The high concentrated chemicals in the gunpowder led severe injury to one of his eyes, from the right eye and to the left eye. He couldn’t stand on his feet to continue covering the event. He was rush to the nearby hospital in Dormaa.
Kofi Adoma, has been flown out to dubai for better treatment and medication.
I am not asking much, all I am asking Ghanaians is to remember my husband in prayers and God will bless you all especially those showing more concern.
